Britt Warner came to Tucson during the 2025 fires in her native Los Angeles and never left. She began documenting poetic and humorous observations of her new habitat online in real time, gaining an enthusiastic following of natives and transplants alike who appreciated seeing the "Dirty T" through new eyes. In Tucson is the result, a follow-up to her book The Old Carousel, released earlier the same year.
